I'm originally from Madison, WI and have spent the past 27 years building an active and multifaceted career as a performer, educator, clinician, coach and mentor. Along the way, I've also been lucky enough to have appeared in some of the most fantastic and iconic venues in Chicago, Germany, and New York, and have had the privilege of teaching at some of the finest music programs in the world.

I have an obsession for seeking out creative, compelling, music of any style that contains, at the very least, genuine human emotion. My true passion, however, is teaching. My life experiences have taught me a great deal about music, the arts, expression and creativity, and the importance of humility. I use these experiences and the wisdom they have provided me to help guide and partner with students on their personal and professional journeys.
